Natasha (Rubin) Marin was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. She began her piano studies at age 6. By age 10 she was playing at competitions and in prestigious concert halls. At the same time she got accepted to the Special Music School for Gifted Children (one of several such schools in the entire former USSR). Her education continued with Professor Leonid Sintsev, under whom she graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College with honors and received her master’s degree in piano performance from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. Later, Natasha also studied privately with Professor Vitaly Margulis.
Natasha Marin enjoys working both as a soloist and in the ensembles. She has been performing extensively in Russia (including venues such as St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall) and in the United States. She was featured on the radio and TV and recorded.
Natasha moved to the United States in 1995. She is married to actor/comedian Cheech Marin. They reside in Malibu, Ca.
