"Double Sharp" is an exciting piano duo, combining the talents of the Russian-born pianists Natasha Rubin and Maria Demina. These gifted and beautiful performers, who both graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory, present an hour program consisting of technically challenging and diverse music by Russian Romantic and Twentieth Century composers.
This program premiered on June 22nd, 2008 at the LACMA's Bing Theater in Los Angeles, for the Sunday Live Series, with a live radio broadcast.
"Double Sharp" also made a special appearance at Robert Shapiro's Foundation Event, sponsored by Steinway Pianos, where they captivated 700 special guests and celebrities with their spectacular performance.
